Version 3.0.1

Improved

  • If PromptPalette cannot confirm that a sent message appeared in the conversation, it now shows a notice instead of an error and asks you to check the conversation. It never sends again automatically.
  • Added links to the MIT License and the source code (GitHub) on the settings page.

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where auto-send in ChatGPT reported that it stopped because the state could not be confirmed in time, even though the message had been sent (follows a change in ChatGPT's page).

Version 3.0.0

Improved

  • Rebuilt sharing with your other PCs. Each PC checks an update before applying it, and a newly added PC does not send anything until the shared presets arrive.
  • Updates that empty all presets or delete many of them, and edits made at the same time, are no longer applied automatically. You review them and choose.
  • Several backups of earlier presets are kept on this PC before they are overwritten or replaced, and can be restored on this PC only.

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where ChatGPT's attachment field could not be found and the run could not be retried even though no image was attached. If the image cannot be attached, PromptPalette now stops without changing anything and you can run it again.

Notes

  • Shared presets do not travel between 3.0.0 and 2.1.0 or earlier. Export your settings on each PC, then update every PC to 3.0.0. Updating alone sends nothing and keeps your presets.
