New

  • Added "Reset key monitoring" to the tray icon menu. If pressing the key twice does not respond, you can restart key monitoring without restarting the app (the history is kept).
  • Added a diagnostic log for support. Nothing is recorded normally. Recording starts when you hold Ctrl+Shift and click the version text in Settings, and stops automatically after 7 days. Clipboard contents, typed characters, and window titles are not recorded.

Improved

  • Improved a problem on some PCs (for example, PCs with strict security settings) where pressing Left Shift twice sometimes did not paste, such as right after startup. When Plain Clip detects that key monitoring has stopped, it restarts it automatically. It is also restarted after resuming from sleep or unlocking.

Fixed

  • Fixed a problem where content different from what you chose could be pasted if something else was copied while Plain Clip was waiting to paste. Pasting is now canceled and a notice is shown.
  • Fixed the source app's "do not sync to the cloud" marker sometimes being removed when pasting without formatting or pasting/copying from the history.
  • Fixed the Settings buttons sometimes going off the screen with larger text or on small screens. Settings, How to use, and the history list now fit on the screen and scroll if needed.
  • Fixed pressing Esc in a shortcut box in Settings entering "Esc" instead of closing the window.
